Sydney baby!!!

We were at Sydney for New's Year's eve, the fireworks were spectacular, the city was gorgeous, night life was good fun and the buildings much, much taller than Adelaide's. Sydney at night.
Pearl and I, waiting for the fireworks to begin.
We then went on a boat for a Brazillian boat party.. the boat was late, and we got bored waiting at the port.
Finally got on the boat, and it was awesome. There were people playing those traditional brazillian drums, and some doing the Capoeira ( A Brazillian dance)..
The next day, we went to Circular Quay and the main city area and walked around...

Finally got to the most iconic Australian landmark, The Sydney Opera House!
After 3 years in Australia, it's about time I got there!!!
Unfortunately, it was nearly dark by the time we got there, so we didn't really get the best picture. Besides, after you get there, after all that hype and anticipation, its just 'Meh, this is it? Big deal.' :D
Ryuti's t-shirt. 'Oh dear!!!'
Third day of the trip, we went around to the rocks. Stopped for some pictures along the way too.

Finally got to the rocks (which was exactly what I said, just a bunch of rocks). But apparently its the spot to be because from the rocks you get a perfect view of the Opera house and the Darling Bridge in the background, 2 of the biggest tourist spots in Sydney.
Unfortunately, the sky started to turn colour, and it started to pour with rain. All of us got caught in it (no pictures, sorry, Lalita's camera isn't waterproof haha). And by the time we managed to get to the city again, we were all drenched and had to buy new clothes. :D Nice opportunity to shop in Sydney really.

We then stopped at Starbucks where there was a laugh about the boy's names. Ryuti was ordering and when they asked for his name he proceeded to spell it out.
"R-Y-U-"
"Oh, I know, Roy!!!!"
Thus, the name on the cup. :D
We know who Douglas is, but who the hell is Dugles???!!!!
Apparently being able to spell is not one of the requirements for a job in Starbucks!
Got caught in the rain AGAIN on the last day ( it was just Lalita, Guy and me). By this point we were like, Oh what else is new?
And got ourselves a couple of cheap, silly-looking ponchos from some souvenir shops.
All in all, it was good fun and I love Sydney!!!

Here's to SYDNEY BABY!!!
