I found this movie at BlockBuster the other day and decided to rent it. ( All the while hoping that it wouldnt be dubbed in English cause that's just a horrible thing to do and spoils everything) I'd heard a lot about this movie and how good it is, so I thought it was about time I gave it a try. Plus, Tony Leung is in this movie and you know a movie is worth watching when you get the superlicious Tony Leung-of-the-intense-eyes starring in it.Boy was it worth it!
Such a superb movie! Great direction, great soundtrack and great acting!
Tony Leung was superb, Andy Lau was superb, Anthony Wong was superb... you get my drift.. Or do I have to use the words 'superb' and 'great' more?
I'm not surprised Martin Scorsese picked this movie to base his "The Departed' on. The ending was full of twists and unconventional ( I won't spoil it for you) and you get your share of poignant and sad scenes ( Which I love watching over and over and bawling my eyes out).
All in all, I can see why everyone wants to marry Tony Leung. Hahahahha!
